The echoes of Ar Ramadi, the heat of the Iraqi sands, and the memories of battles fought side by side still live in the hearts of the Marines and Sailors of 1st Battalion, 5th Marines. Their shared experiences forged an unbreakable bond—a brotherhood that time cannot erase.
The Robert Irvine Foundation, in partnership with the 1st Battalion, 5th Marines Association, is proud to sponsor a reunion in Washington, D.C., from August 27th to 30th, 2025. This event is dedicated to healing, remembrance, and reconnection—providing veterans and their families with a meaningful opportunity to:
• Heal unseen wounds – Find comfort in the presence of those who truly understand the weight of their experiences.
• Reignite the bonds of brotherhood – Stand once more beside those who shared in both the triumphs and the struggles.
• Honor the fallen – Pay tribute to brothers lost in battle and those who have since passed.
• Share their stories – Preserve their history by connecting and reflecting together.
• Find peace – Walk the hallowed grounds of Arlington, stand before the Marine Corps Memorial, and experience the strength of the 1/5 community.
